Farmers across India are facing difficulty to sell their fresh produce at sustainable prices. There is a need for marketing the local produce effectively, to become competitive against the cheaper, pesticides and chemicals-ridden produce.
Farmers Fresh Zone (FFZ) sources fresh fruits and vegetables from farmers and delivers them to consumers. Thus on the one hand providing easy accessibility of food to consumers, enhancing their health and nutrition and on the other hand supporting farmers to increase their income. The social business trains small and marginal farmers in sustainable farming practices, especially in reducing the usage of pesticides contaminating the soil.
FFZ has onboarded over 2,000 farmers, and closely works with around 500 farmers, serving over 10,000 customers
